This season with the color blocking trend in full force, shoe designers have tried different ways to make unique variations of the theme. Usually the results are color blocking with contrasting materials, and while I like those designs, Giuseppe Zanotti’s crystal embellished color block pumps are my favorite. The twinkling crystals will attract all eye’s around you, while the nude colored vamp will elongate and flatter your legs.
Just because these shoes have crystal enhancements, don’t think they’re strictly for evenings. The color blocking makes them less formal and suitable for dressed-up day wear.

There’s never a shortage or raffia when the warm weather rolls around, but all raffia isn’t created equal. Ruthie Davis has come on the shoe scene with vengeance. I can’t recall any other designer who’s status has risen so far so fast. It usually takes several years, even decades for designers to acquire the following and demand to sell their goods at top dollar. Ruthie Davis has done it in a few short years. What says sexy with a serious dose of attitude? These bad a** Camilla Skovgaard spike stud sandals. I have to admit I haven’t been terribly impressed with the Skovgaard spring/summer 2012 collection up to this point, but these sandals totally make up for it. The nude hue makes them ultra flattering, the color elongates the leg while the heel perks up your bootie. The spiked studs offer an instant upgrade and take them to a whole other level of chic.
