Usually Betsey Johnson shoes are a bit funky for my taste, but these boots are great. They have a sort of Gwen Stefani coolness that I really like. These boots would be a great with black leggings or distressed jeans. They are pull on ankle boots and are leather and fabric. Betsey Johnson can be completely over the top and borderline tacky half of the time, and the other half, incredibly pretty and feminine. These shoes fall in the latter. They are a simple patent pump, but the adorable lipstick detail on the vamp make them sassy chic. They would be great with skinny jeans and a simple top. They have a 4.25 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform, so they will be pretty comfortable, and definitely suitable for dancing. $200 Available at Zappos.

Betsey Johnson is the ultimate girly-girl, and her fashions reflect that trait. These shoes are the Betsey Johnson Fabi Sandal and I think they are both feminine and beautiful. They come in this green and gold color combination as well as hot pink. I like these better, because I'm a bit past the age of being able to pull off hot pink platforms. I love the old Hollywood glamour look to this shoe, it's very Greta Garbo at the Oscars. These are Betsy Johnson's Roxxy shoe, and they are black satin with creme piping. The beautiful crystal studded ornament is a nice finish for the D'Orsay construction. These are a great year round dress shoe, and they are classy and sophisticated, great for most occasions. These shoes were debuted at the Betsy Johnson Spring 2009 Runway show. I'm not feeling them, they have a sort of shabby chic vibe.

These are a little better, but the platform and heel of the shoes look sloppy. They look painted, and messily so. I almost never like an ankle strap, unless it's very thin and dainty, which these are not. Not to mention the coin charms on the strap. Not good. I'm going to pass on Betsy Johnson's shoes this spring, but the handbags...that's another story.
