Calvin Klein Spring 2009

Calvin Klein’s Spring 2009 show at Fashion Week presented a chunky ’Block Heel’ style. In the pumps, the shoe itself looks almost like a slipper, with no real structure. And they are placed on top of a very solid rectangular block.  That the heel doesn't even fully connect with the shoe, leads me to believe this is more art than chic couture. I don't like them at all, art or no art. The silhouette is horrible, even for librarian shoes. What do you think?
