I’ve been eyeing these Christian Louboutin shoes for a few weeks now. They are pretty, with classic sophistication. The knot detail is a bit reminiscent of 50’s style, a la June Cleaver, but I love it. I know I would get a lot of wear out of these shoes, pairing them with anything from denim to a LBD. They are on the low end price wise for Loubies, so, yes, I’ve talked myself into getting them.

They are black and white stripe damas fabric pumps with a peep toe and knot detail on upper. They have a 1 inch covered platform and a 5 inch heel and signature red sole. Available at Mytheresa.com, $774.

If any of you are wondering why I haven’t been covering the London Fashion Week very much is because it’s incredibly boring. My main shoe man Christian Louboutin even managed to create ho-hum designs for the Johnathon Saunders Fall 2010 collection. The above shoe is decent, but absolutely not at all reflective of CL’s talent. Let’s hope the collections get better in Milan and Paris.

Christian Louboutin designed the shoes for 3.1 Philip Lim’s Fall 2010 runway collection, and they were fabulous as usual. Every shoe has a towering heel and platform, for a total lift of over 5 inches. His designs for Lim’s show were on the safe side with strappy sandals and ankle boots, with a bit of Louboutin flair in the crystal studded heels on a few of the designs. My favorite element however, are the signature red soles.

We saw them in black and now we see these fabulous Christian Louboutin shoes in cream. I think I like these even better, because it's hard to make a cream shoe interesting, however CL is a genius designer. Also, the cream color provides a stark contrast to the bright red sole. These shoes are napa leather with multi sized silver studs throughout, including on the 4.75 inch heel. $1,895 at Barney's.

Christian Louboutian shoes are by far my absolute favorites. Even his basic pumps are fabulous, simply by having the signature red sole. His more stylish designs, like this caged bootie are beyond words fabulous. Warm weather ankle boots are a huge trend for the upcoming spring and summer and probably will be for many seasons to come since it's a fairly new concept. This shoe is the Christian Louboutin Coussin Caged Ankle Boot and it has a 5 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform. Avaialble at LUISAVIAROMA.COM, $1,595.

It's not that I don't like this Spring/Summer 2010 collection of Christian Louboutin shoes, I'm just not overly impressed with any and wouldn't buy any of them. The brightly colored bootie, pump and oxford pump are very eye-catching and would make a look unique, but not my speed. The two gold pumps are nice, but not drool worthy. The wedge, no thanks, I've never met a wedge I couldn't pass up, but as for the boot...dare I say a Christian Louboutin is hideous. I just did. The boot is hideous. *having Brady Bunch flashbacks*

Even though this Christian Louboutin collection is less than stellar, he more than made up for it with the Christian Louboutin shoes spring/summer 2010 for Marchesa, no?

While most musicians write about love, life, and politics, Jennifer Lopez's latest release is about Christian Louboutin shoes, called 'Louboutins'. She's seen here wearing the super fabulous leopard print lace bootie ($1,795), that literally make me weak in the knees. While I love Christian Louboutin as much as the next shoe obsessed fashionista, I don't pen lyrics for him or his shoes. I do, however, covet them and treat them as the pieces of art that they are.
