I am SO excited! I discovered another luxury on-line store, FarFetch.com, and they have a huge selection and ship to the US. Yeah! That's where I found these shoes, or summer boots, which I think are fabulous. They are by Armenian designer Claudio Montias who has become known for integrating sleek 1940s Art Deco aesthetic with vintage-style textiles. His collections pair puffball mini-dresses and daring velvet hotpants with leather and lace creations that has given him the reputation for fashion design on the wild-side.
These knee-high boots have a large silk cream and black bow at the top, a high heel made from python and an open-toe. I love the basket weave look for spring and summer. These boots would look hot with linen short shorts and a little silk top, don't you think? Available at Farfetch, $1,095.
