Call me modest...I'm just so over the in-your-face labels on shoes. I like a good Louis Vuitton monogram tote or a classic GG Gucci handbag, but on the feet, it's just too much. This Fendi Zucca Lace up shoe would be great if it were a solid color with maybe a tiny label on the side...something discreet. Just in time for the election, you can show your patriotism with these red, white and blue Fendi shoes. However, I doubt the designer had America on his mind when he created these shoes. I think these shoes are OK. While I do like the Fendi logo cut out between the heel and the sole of the shoe, I don't like the white platform and heel. White shows dirt and scuffs immediately. They look pretty on the runway or in a store window, but on the street, not so much. For the money I could find something that I like a lot better. $640.

Upon first glance, these shoes have two major pluses; the label, Fendi, and the patent leather. I love a glossy patent leather shoe. These Fendi Peep-Toe Platform Slingbacks are conservative enough for the office, yet at the same time, sexy, and great for happy hour. It seems that every designer is trying to do something unique with the heels of their shoes, and in this shoe Fendi achieved a new, "different" heel, yet it's wearable and beautiful. These shoes are very wearable, and suitable for many occasions. You will get your money's worth out of these, $640.
