I thought we had seen the last of the horrible gladiator sandal last summer, but unfortunately I was wrong. These are Marc by Marc Jacobs Diamond Gladiator Flat and as with almost all gladiator sandals, I think they are hideous. I have never, ever seen them look flattering on someone. They would make Angelina Jolie look bad. Not only are they ugly, but who has time to fasten all those buckles. I wish the gladiator sandal would go away for good! Seriously, would any sane adult woman ever wear these shoes, unless in costume? Apparently so, since they are sold out in four sizes. It's no wonder they are on sale, but at $239, it's $239 too much. These shoes are Marc Jacobs patent mary janes and I had a pair...when I was three.

I'm not sure I care for the Marc Jacobs Star Bling pump. I do appreciate the sweet and whimsical crystal star detail, but not on me. An early twenties and younger could pull this shoe off fabulously, but it's just too cutesy for a grown up, I believe. These things are hideous, from the mannish shape to the Laura Ashly 80's era-ish print. And then the neon pink laces that belong on a sneaker?! They were debuted at his Spring 2009 show last week. He had some really beautiful handbags, but the shoes...not so much.
