While I am usually not a 'flats' kind of girl, sometimes our feet demand comfort. On such occasion I could deal with these cute little Miu Miu 'Lux' flat shoe. It's fitted like a ballet slipper so they are super comfortable. It's metallic military green leather with blue-green crystal appliqué. If you have to wear flats, these shoes keep it cute. These are the Miu Miu Patent Plisse Slingback pumps. These are a way cuter version of a simple black pump. The texture in the cork platform and heel are a nice contrast with the banded patent leather vamp, and of course, the purple sole is fabulous. I hope Miu Miu starts making the purple sole a signature mark like Christian Louboutin and the red sole. The heel is 5", but with the 1.5" platform it feels more like a 3.5" heel...not so bad. Another piece of evidence as to why Miu Miu is my favorite label for shoes. These Swarovsky platform sandals are gorgeous! I love the big chunky crystals on the heel and the contrasting, dainty T strap. I would wear these fab shoes with jeans and a cute top or a little party dress. Yes, I am writing about Miu Miu's sequined shoes yet again. I can't get enough of them! I'm a bit perplexed about the price difference on this platform shoe and the latest sequined pumps Miu Miu has released. This shoe is $300 more, for a grand total of $950, and I don't see any difference except that it has a platform. Here are two that cost $650, and I am dying for either pair.

The Winter '08 collection of sequined shoes from Miu Miu are the reason the label is my absolute favorite. Other labels will do one or two great shoes a season, but Miu Miu consistently puts out many. These are the Miu Miu Sandali Sequin slides and I love the collection of colored metallics, making it a great metallic for the upcoming holidays, but with a little color. Notice the detail of how the sequins are larger at the top and then get very small towards the sole of the shoe. Gorgeous! These shoes have a fierce 5 inch heel, so may not be the best dancing shoes. I prefer to sit in the 5 inchers. Available at Saks, $685

I know I say I love a certain pair of shoes often, and I truly do, but these are extra special. I love, love, love these Miu Miu Pearlized paillette pumps. If you look at the close up picture, notice the expert detail of how the sequins are lain. The shoes will perfect any outfit, from jeans and a cute blouse, to a little black dress, and with the sparkly sequins these shoes are great for the upcoming holidays as well as a girls night out. $650 at Net a Porter.

The Miu Miu spring 2009 shoe collection displayed an array of materials, from burlap to crocodile. Possibly as a nod to the people who are hurting in this economy, Miuccia Prada, the Miu Miu designer fused exotic (snake and croc) with common (burlap). Personally, I thought her combination of silk and burlap was even better and more creative. But with these unconventional pairings she managed to create a beautiful shoe. She also displayed some vivid prints on crocodile and snakeskin, and bouffant heels on her wedge shoes. This Miu Miu shoe collection also had some half wedges, where the wedge stops mid heel, and it looks as if the wearer's foot is suspended. All together I think the collection was diverse and original, as well as beautiful.

These beautiful shoes are Miu Miu Suede Platform pumps. I love these colors for fall, complete with the plum interior. In Miu Miu's typical fashion, the heels are elaborate and a main focal point of the shoe. The heel is approximately 5 inches high and a 0.5 inch concealed platform. Personally I think these would be great for the office (aren't Mary Janes always), as well out on the town. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a big jeans with heels gal, and true to form, I would pair these shoes with skinny jeans and a cute little sweater. Get them at Net a Porter, $695.

These are Miu Miu Suede Platform Pumps, and true to Miu Miu form, they are very unique. I love the color combination and the suede for fall. These shoes are funky and bold, and a definite attention grabber. Though they are not my style (I couldn't pull them off), I like them alot. They have a fierce 4 inch heel. In my opinion, Miu Miu makes the most fabulous shoes. Their designs are always a bit more artistic than the others. This shoe is fantastic. I love the color combination, and how the sequins cover the entire shoe, including the heel. The pink silk piping finishes this beautiful shoe. And Miu Miu is priced moderately, compared to other premier designers. This shoe is a must have for fall. Perfect with jeans, a fitted white button down and this bag. So Sexy! Go get 'em at Saks $690.
