Christian Louboutin Shoes – How to spot a fake

Christian Louboutin shoes are the most coveted in the world, and for good reason. They are made with fine craftsmanship, from the best materials, and they make a woman look and feel beautiful. No other shoe designer is copied as much as Mr. Louboutin, and their are hundreds of copy cat sellers on the web, but anyone who has seen a genuine Louboutin in person can spot the fakes from a mile away.

The first and most obvious tell tale sign is the red sole. Genuine Christian Louboutin shoe soles are made with red leather and in a fake, all of the materials are faux, including the sole, and the result is a duller, matte red color. On genuine Louboutin’s the sole is a glossy, clear red.

The second obvious sign the shoes are a fake is the stitching. With EVERY fake designer item, from handbags to shoes, the stitching is a giveaway. With a fake, the stitching isn’t strait and is usually loose in several places, for the simple reason they are cheaply made in China from a low wage worker, not a professional seamstress who create the quality goods we expect when buying luxury goods.

Third is the fit. They will be ill-fitting, as they are mass made with no concern of comfort.

Last and not least, they will look cheap close up andfrom a distance. The people that manufacture fake Christian Louboutin shoes are simply hoping to fool you into thinking you are buying a discounted, real thing. They always have a no-return policy, because they know and you will know it’s an obvious fake.

The bottom line is if you can’t afford the real designer shoe, don’t cop a fake. The people that will recognize the red sole for what it is, are also the people that will instantly be able to tell it’s a fake, and in the end you will look foolish. If a on-line store is claiming to have genuine Christian Louboutin shoes at heavily discounted prices, below $400 for a pump, they aren’t the real deal.
