As much as I love the top tier, world famous shoe designers like Louboutin and Zanotti, it’s always great to see the fresh ideas of new talent. Alain Quilici has been designing shoes for just two years, but already he has a celebrity following and collaborations with some of Italy’s best fashion houses. As you can see from the above wedge sandal, his designs are as much about form as they are function, and he treats them as pieces of art.

Black and brown leather with cut outs and an open toe, these designer shoes have a carved wood heel and platform. The ankle strap snaps close and ther is a zip closure at the inner ankle.
