Giuseppe Zanotti is the collaborator with Balmain for their shoe collection again this season. I guess those rumors that Balmain was going to hire their own cobbler was just that, a rumor. Oh well, Giuseppe does a great job creating ultra rocker-chic designs that is in step with Balmains’ signature style. These studded sandals are so rocker-chic I can totally see Beyonce belting out ‘Single Ladies’ while wearing them.

These designer shoes are black leather with a heel that measures approximately 4.5 inches. They have silver pyramid studs at the back ankle strap and a hanging chain at the arch. There is a single strap across the front toes and a buckle-fastening ankle strap. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes are made in Italy. $850 Available here.

These Balmain lace-up ankle boots represent the current military trend that is so popular this Spring and Summer 2010. Team these statement heels with skinny jeans and an embellished blazer to emphasize the military trend, or tone it down with a blousy dress as seen in the pictures below.

Designer Shoes for Fall 2010

Here are a few of the more interesting designer shoes we get to look forward to in the upcoming Fall 2010. However nothing really makes me super excited about these shoes. We will still see a lot of ankle boots, which is great, but also that damn double platform is sticking around. Note to designers for their next collection: I don’t want to look like a tranny or a hooker, please retire the huge platforms and 8 inch heels.
