Boutique 9 Barrow Ankle Boots

Hiking boot-inspired high-heeled booties? Sure thing. I’m anything but an outdoorsy girl, but sometimes it’s cute to look the part, but with a big curvaceous heel instead of a lug sole. Boutique 9 offers an affordable version of a very cute mountain boot/ankle boot hybrid and it comes complete with the thick, colored laces that are so prominent on performance footwear.

 This ankle boot is dubbed ‘Barrow’ and it comes in 4 colors: black, grey, tan and brown leather. They have  lace up front and a rear zipper for slip on and off. They have a slightly padded footbed, a 4.75 inch heel and a .75 inch hidden platform. $225 Available here.

Boutique 9 Commons Suede Sandals

I never know what to call this type of shoe. In suede and a covered upper foot, it’s not a sandal, but with full open toe and an open heel, as well as cutouts it’s not an ankle boot. It’s part of a pre-Fall collection, so I guess it’s what you would wear through the seasons’ transition. Regardless, it’s a fantastic hybrid. Boutique 9 took the most attractive elements of an oxford and paired it with sexy cut out details, and the result is a sexy number suited for coctail hour and beyond.

These Boutique 9 shoes are taupe (or black) suede and have an eyelet lace up the front with tasseled ties. They have gold hardware matching the gold stiletto heel and an adjustable buckle closure at the ankle strap. They have a lightly padded footbed and a 4.5 inch heel. $128 Available here.
