Casadei Shoes Spring 2012
Bright is back for Spring 2012. Last Spring we saw eye-popping bright colors in ready-to-wear fashion and accessories, and the trend is back this year. You can pull out some of those fabulous pieces from last year and wear them knowing you’re still on trend this season, or start fresh with some brights like these Casadei shoes from their Spring 2012 collection. Almost the entirety of Casadei’s pallette is ultra, bright neon colors, but these simple pumps with pin thin stiletto heels caught my eye, both for the color and design. While they appear fairly simple, and they are, the pointed toe is perfectly complimented by the pointed stiletto. From the back, the heel is square shaped at the bottom and graduates to a point at the top of the shoe.
Neon lime green (or orange) shiny, patent leather with a pointed cap, these designer shoes will perfectly compliment tanned skin just in time for the warm weather. They have a leather sole and in-sole. The blade stiletto heel is 4.75 inches with a .75 platform. Casadei shoes are made in Italy. $740 Casadei shoes are here.
Casadei Patent Glitter Heel Pumps
For those of you that come here often, you know I’m obsessed with nude pumps. Nothing is more flattering to legs and they go with absolutely everything. So I’m constantly looking for a nude colored shoe that is somehow different, whether it’s with cut outs or some kind of embellished detail and these Casadei pumps instantly struck my fancy. The flattering nude patent leather will still elongate the legs while the gold glitter heel offers the “different” element.
These designer shoes are nude colored patent leather with an open toe and a textured gold glitter heel. They have a leather sole and in-sole. The heel measures 5.25 inches with a .75 inch platform. Casadei shoes are made in Italy. $690 Available here.

Casadei Swarovski Crystal Embellished Pumps
I love, love, love crystal embellished pumps, and the more crystals the better. The only cobbler to do an all-over crystal-embellished pump thus far is Christian Louboutian, and while they are absolutely stunning, they are also extremely pricey, retailing at well over 3K. These Casadei crystal embellished pumps are equally as gorgeous as Mr. Louboutins’, but at a much lower price point. And I have to admit, I’m loving the nude crystal embellished pumps even better than the jewel toned versions offered by CL.
These gorgeous designer shoes are nude colored leather with all-over Swarovski crystal embellishments. They have a peep toe and leather sole and in-sole. The heel measures 5.1 inces with a 1.2 inch platform. Casadei shoes are made in Italy. $1,600 Available here.
Casadei Rouched Tulle Ruffle Pumps
Ever since Alexander McQueen came out with the ‘Faithful’ collared ankle boot a few years ago, the concept has appeared in several forms from other designers, but this ruffle and tool pump from Casadei is the first ‘dressy’ collared shoe I have seen. I love it! It’s a formal shoe, but with a nod to couture shoe design, allowing the overall look to be both appropriate and ultra chic.
I just realized that this is a Casadei shoe that isn’t a platform, and something I hope to see more. For a while there it seemed almost every shoe, especially Casadei, had a platform, and usually a very large platform. While I like an ultra high heel on occassion, usually I prefer to be lifted about 4.5 inches, so the platform trend can fade away and I would be perfectly happy.
These designer shoes are black tulle with a ruffled leather collar. They have an open toe, leather sole and in-sole. The heel measures 4.25 inches. Casadei shoes are made in Italy. $950 Available here.
Casadei Slingback Patent Pumps
These Casadei shoes are on trend with this seasons ‘bright and bold’ color palette. While I’m not a fan of orange in my clothing (washes me out), I love the bright, citrus color in shoes, and the glossy finish of the patent leather makes it even more appealing. Atwood did a Maniac pump in this color and the shoe started selling out within days. Casadei made their orange pump a bit dressier with a slingback design and gold braid trim along the platform. I also really like the V-shaped vamp and peep toe (pedicure required).
These designer shoes are bright orange patent leather with gold chain detail on the platform. They are slingbacks with gold tone buckle closure at the ankle strap an open toe. Casadei Starry Pumps
These Casadei shoes are beautiful and they are super shimmery and sparkly, even more so than if they were covered in crystals. The small circular detail aren’t sequins, they are actually highly polished silver discs that really catch light. As you can see from the pictures, the discs are all over the shoe and the heel.
These shoes are silver satin with silver hardware discs details. They have a leather sole, a 5.25 inch heel and a 1.25 inch platform. $840 at Endless.com.
