Charlotte Olympia Silk Pumps

Opposites attract and this Spring 2012 they are coming at you in the form of pink and red silk pumps from Charlotte Olympia. If you’re looking for a red pump, but want something a little different, look no further. Although they have the pink at the heel, they still act as a red shoe and will look fantastic with anything you would normally wear with red pumps.

Red and bright pink satin pumps, these designer shoes are the perfect accessory to make a look stand out. They have a 6 inch heel and while the 1.5 inch shelf platform adds height to the shoe, it also allows for better viewing the spectacular Charlotte Olympia Spiderweb logo. $898 Charlotte Olympia pumps are here.

Ankle Boots for Fall

Whether you are going with a warm weather look or a cool weather look, ankle boots are always a fashionable pick for footwear. Ankle boots have been on the rise in the past few years, as a versatile accessory where designers can most express their personal style. The ankle boot can be open toed or closed, sport cut outs and straps, have a wedge or stiletto, lace or zip closed, and can be casual or formal. It’s the specific style of an ankle boot that can completely transform a look.

The above ankle boots are Chloe Wedge Lace Up Ankle Boots, $649,  and Pedro Garcia Chambel Ankle Boots $398.

Here are a few great looks with ankle boots:

Charlotte Olympia Emerald Satin Pumps

Afraid of the super bright colors that are dominating the fashions this Spring? Sport the trend with shoes like these Charlotte Olympia satin pumps. However, be warned…these babies will raise you half a foot, and even with a two inch platform your arch will still be raised four inches, so wear at an event with seating. They would be great to add a little color to a LBD or paired with denim and a tank. Just keep it simple, the focus should be on the fabulous shoes.

These designer shoes are emerald green satin pumps with fan detailing on heel. They have a covered island platform with red trim and a slightly pointed cap. They have a covered, 6 inch high heel, leather in-sole and sole. These shoes come with matching tights. $749 Available here.

Charlotte Olympia Raffia Pumps

I really like these Charlotte Olympia pumps for several reasons. The natural toned raffia is perfect for spring, and the color is super flattering to bare skin, perfect for pairing with tailored shorts or a sun dress. As on all Charlotte Olympia shoes, they have a signature spider web stamp on the sole, a discreet feature, but one that I love never-the-less. This particular shoe is a bit high for my taste, but they would be perfect for someone 5’4″ or shorter, or for someone that loves a really high heel.

These designer shoes are natural raffia pumps with gold toned island platform. They have a slightly rounded cap, a covered high heel, and a leather sole and insole. The heel measures 5.5 inches with a 2 inch platform. They also come in black raffia. Charlotte Olympia shoes are made in Italy. $735 Available here.

Charlotte Olympia Fruit Pump

It’s pieces like this when I really want to talk to the designer and ask what in the world was going through her mind when she made this shoe. Charlotte Olympia is an overall great shoe designer, but this is just ridiculous. I get it that it’s meant to be ’quirky’ and I can totally appreciate it as a distinctive shoe, but it’s child like and unflattering. Not to mention grossly overpriced (1.7k). While Louboutin, Choo, Blahnik and some others have earned their reputation and can command such price points, it’s a bit presumptuous for an up and comer. Take a pointer from Skovgaard. She has very gradual price increases with every collection, as she rakes in awards and celebrity clientele.

These designer shoes are leather and suede with a wood heel and platform. They have leather lining and insole. The heel measures 5.75 inches with a 1.15 inch platform. Charlotte Olympia shoes are made in Italy. $1,695 Available here.

Charlotte Olympia Perspex Heeled Pumps

If you want a super cool pair of shoes for the Fall, these Charlotte Olympia shoes are a must have. The shoes alone are absolutely fabulous, but they come with these yellow hose that have the Charlotte Olympia signature spider web etched in the back lower leg. They match both the yellow perspex heel, but also the spider web stamp on the sole of the shoe (see pic.’s below)

These designer shoes are black velvet with a yellow Perspex heel that measures approximately 5.5 inches with a 1.5 inch platform. The Charlotte Olympia pumps have an almond toe, patent leather trimming and platform, a signature designer stamp on sole and simply slip on. $1,428 Available here.
