Giuseppe Zanotti for Christopher Kane Neon Lined Sandals
Sometimes less is more, as is the case with these shoes designed by Giuseppe Zanotti for Christopher Kane. Per his request, Zanotti designed shoes for Summer 2011 in bright neons, matching the essence of the Kane collection, “Princess Margaret on acid”. All of the shoes have platforms and 5 inch heels, and most are solid neon, in bright pink, orange and green, but these are simply lined in the lime colored hue. I prefer eye-catching, as opposed to blinding. Besides, you can always add more colors with jewelry and a handbag.
These designer shoes are black leather with neon green details and have an ankle strap with hook and loop closure. They have a leather sole and in-sole. The heel measures 5 inches with a 1.75 inch platform. $650 Available here.
Giuseppe Zanotti for Christopher Kane Laced Boots
It seems that Giuseppe Zanotti is the go-to designer when high end label wants to do a shoe line, and I totally agree with the choice. Mr. Zanotti is a shoe-design genius and this fabulous lace up boot is evidence. He did a small collection for Christopher Kane and this boot is one of my favorites.
These designer shoes are pointed-toe leather booties that feature a lace-up tie and lacing detail at the cutouts. They have a hidden back zip, 1/2 inch covered platform and a 4.75 inch covered heel. 7″ (18 cm) shaft. They have a leather sole and insole. $1,195 Available here.
