DSquared shoes are very eyecatching and are often made with very bright colors and materials. They are a cross between high fashion and hip hop.

DSquared Ice Skate Boots

These shoes have been out for a few weeks now, but frankly, I’ve been hesitant to cover them because I’m not sure how I feel about them. I’m a big fan of the novelty glamour shoe, but even the haughtiest shoe lover may have a hard time strapping on these ice skate ankle boots. They, literally, will be mistaken for actual ice skates by the general public. I guess that’s the “novelty” of it.

A classic lace-up calf-leather ankle bootie on a stacked stiletto heel, even with a side zip for pull-on convenience, these designer shoes are nothing if not head turning. Set on a 2.5 inch rubber platform of thin blades, the heel measures 6.5 inches. DSquared shoes are made in Italy. $1,486 Available here.

DSquared Red Sequin Embellished Sandals

I have really liked most of the DSquared shoes that came from their Fall 2010 collection, especially the finger bone heels, and now this one has been released and it has an extra element that I love: sequins.  The design is done in the very popular style of part sandal and part ankle boot, with eyecatching red and black seqins and red gemstones embellishing the crossing straps.

These designer shoes are matte black silk with red and black sequins and red gemstone details. They have a gold side buckle closure, a gold tone ‘finger bone’ heel, and leather lining and sole. The heel measures 4.5 inches with a 1 inch platform. $1,119 Available here.

DSquared Shearling Boots

Shearling lined boots and ankle boots are a big trend for this upcoming Fall and Winter 2010/2011 seasons, and I like many of the different versions. I really like these DSquared shoes for the construction boot appeal but with a sexy heel. The rubber sole makes the shoes virtually slip proof, a plus if you’re sporting these after a few cocktails.

These designer shoes are black leather, rubber, and textile. They have contrasting bright red laces, silver hardware and plush shearling liningand supporting  the ankle. They have a leather sole and insole and a textured rubber platform. The heel measures 5 inches with a 1.5 inch platform. $999 Available here.

DSquared 2 Finger Bone Ankle boots

I showed you a similar pair of DSquared shoes like these a few weeks ago, with the finger bone stiletto heels, but this version comes in a cut out booty with layered ankle strap. Also, this shoe is now available here in a US store, so no vat tax (or shipping fee from this particular store).

These designer shoes are black suede with black leather straps and shiny silver buckles and finger bone shaped stiletto heel. They have various cut out details and an open toe. The skeleton inspired heel is a signature from the Fall and Winter 2010 collection and is on many of the runway shoes from this season. They have a 4.5 inch heel and a 1 inch platform. $829 Available here.

DSquared Swarovski Crystal Sandals

The Dsquared shoes for this upcoming Fall 2010 are among my favorites so far. We still have many more shoes to see as they trickle out, but DSquared is designing pretty and chic styles when a lot of labels are paring back with more conservative, and fairly boring, shoes. Their theory is that styles should match the mood of the country/world, which we all know is slightly depressed. I prefer the pretty.

These sandals are black satin with a double ankle strap and red Swarovski crystal details. They have a gold tone finger bone heel and gold buckle at the ankle. The heel measures 5.1 inches with a 1.15 inch platform. $964 at LUISAVIAROMA.
