Although the man Gianfranco Ferre is gone, his name lives on through the fashion label that is his namesake.  Designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi follow in his tradition of making distinct and timeless fashion, from shoes and bags to ready-to-wear. These sandals are from the Gianfranco Ferre’ Spring 2011 collection and reflect the trend of ‘the brighter the better’ adopted by many Italian designers this season.

These designer shoes are red and black suede with gold leather trim. They have a leather sole and in sole and a mirrored, metallic pink heel with bolted detail. The heel measures 4.75 inches with a .75 inch platform. Gianfranco Ferre’ shoes are made in Italy. $1,174 Available here
