Nina Ricci Shoes Fall 2011
The Nina Ricci shoes for Fall 2011 are among my favorites thus far. They are very distinct, overtly feminine and pretty. As usual for the Nina Ricci brand, the designs are unapologetically feminine and hopelessly romantic, yet with a modern spark. The shoes in this collection are remniscent of a bodice, and the exaggerated curves at the heel and the toe bring to mind the female form. The elongated platform, too, gives the shoe more “curves”. This was another great collection for designer Peter Copping and the Ricci brand.

Nina Ricci Open Pumps
I absolutely love Nina Ricci shoes, especially the spring and summer 2010 collection, but some of you have given them pretty low ratings, so I’m curious to see how this shoe will rate. I absolutely love it, and even though I’m on a bit of a budget, I may have to make an exception and get these lovelies. I love the feminine curves of the design and the rounded ‘collar’ by the heel. And the exaggerated round heel further completes the pretty design. I think they are sexy, but with a girly appeal.
This shoe is cream and black colored leather with elastic straps across the front and bow detail by the toes. This shoe has a modest 3.5 inch heel and a .5 inch platform, a rareity among designer shoes. $861 (including tax and shipping) at LUISAVIAROMA.
Nina Ricci Lace Leather Ankle Boots
I absolutely love these Nina Ricci shoes. As of the Spring 2010 collection, which this shoe is from, the Nina Ricci brand went back to their roots of being ultra feminine and sexy. This is reflected in the exaggerated curves on this ankle boot, as well as the beautiful lace details. There is a corset style lace up the back of the ankle that further enhances the sexy feminine style in this boot. (You can see the back of the shoe more clearly in the picture below.) These shoes are black leather with an open toe, a 4.5 inch curved heel and a .5 inch platform. $1,252 at LUISAVIAROMA.
