Rene Caovilla Fox Fur and Swarovski Sandals

While we are used to seeing boots with fur details, this Fall/Winter 2011 almost every major designer is adding a touch of fur to sandals, pumps and ankle boots. Among my favorites are these Rene Caovilla sandals that incorporate fox fur and Swarovski crystals for an absolutely decadent and gorgeous shoe. While sandals like these would seem to fall in the formal category, designers have them paired with skinny pants, ripped jeans and leather for an edgy, hip look.

These designer shoes are leather with Swarovski crystals and fox fur. They have a zip closure at the back ankle, leather linig and in-sole. The heel measures 4.3 inches with a .3 inch platform. Rene Caovilla shoes are made in Italy. $1,676 Available here.

Rene Caovilla Swarovski Sandals

When it comes to elegant, jeweled shoes, no one does it better than Rene Caovilla. As he only makes one style of shoe, he has mastered the form, and his designs are both beautiful and reflective of great craftsmanship. If you look closely at these sandals, you can see the larger crystals are lined with very small crystals to cover up the stitching. It is this attention to detail that has earned him a one-of-a-kind status in fashion. Not surprisingly, at Hollywood and music award shows, Rene Caovilla shoes are seen on the red carpet more than any other designer.

These gorgeous designer shoes are metallic gold leather with straps completely covered in clear and colored Swarovski crystals.
