I never liked the cut of shoes like these until I tried them on. They are actually very flattering to the top of the foot and ankle. These shoes are Jean Paul Gaultier, and with the deep red velvet and pearls, they are the a great shoe for the upcoming holidays. While these shoes look somewhat conservative, they have a not so conservative 4 inch heel.
