Burberry Buckle Mule Sandals: The New ‘It’ Label

OK, for the past season or so I have noticed Burberry slipping out of it’s ‘preppy’ image into and slipping into ‘ultra chic’, even competing with such heavy weights as Balmain and Givenchy. Burberry jackets and coats are, hands down, the absolute best of the best in high fashion this season (don’t believe me? Look below). In the last few months they have been seen on every trend setting celebrity worth their salt. Now it seems Burberry is movin’ on up not just with their coats, but also their shoes.

When I first saw these mules I thought they were Gucci, but on closer inspection I saw the barely-visible plaid pattern etched into the footbed. Burberry became known for their famous plaid and can’t dismiss their roots entirely, but I appreciate the subtlty. One thing is for sure, Burberry isn’t for goody-goodies anymore. Plaid’s gone rad!

These designer shoes are camel colored leather with gold stud details and oversized gold buckle with etched Burberry signature. They have tonal plaid pattern on the footbed and a wood heel and platform. They have a leather sole. The heel measures 5 inches with a 1.5 inch platform. Miu Miu Striped Mule Sandals: Summer Staple

Thank you Miu Miu for bringing me the perfect summer shoe. Nautical stripes, wooden heel, gold hardware…if you thinking it’s too much, just imagine all the cute all-solids outfits you can pair them with. If you’re like me you don’t have a plethora of prints in your closet, so these adorable clogs are a great way to change things up. These sandals are anything but boring and sure to illicit one of my favorite things, compliments!

These designer shoes are blue, navy blue and white striped sandals. They have a 5.5 inch wood optic chunky heel and 1 inch platform with gold toned studs trimming. They have a leather in-sole and a rubber sole to avoid slipping. Miu Miu shoes are made in Italy. $349 Available here.
