John Galliano had an island theme for the Christian Dior Spring collection and in the shoes that translated into tropical colors and knit and crochet details. I really liked the collection, the shoes are fun and beautifully non-traditional. Mr. Galliano gave us shoes that are bright and pretty in both this Dior collection and his namesake Galliano collection for Spring 2011, giving us a wide selection of happy-go-lucky designs.
He also did a couple of more classic ankle boots (below), one in solid blue and the other in solid white, with more subtle ‘island’ details.
